The Voices in My Head

Animated and storyboarded a series of animated shorts for Princess Nokia and Beats1 Radio. This was for a show where Princess Nokia explored her various influences from '90s R&B, pop-punk, the LGBTQ+ voguing scene in NYC, divas and emo music. Collaborated directly with Brooklyn based street artist LILKOOL to bring Princess Nokia's stories to life.

These were made on a week long production cycle and required both a lift for Adobe AfterEffects as well as hand drawn frame-by-frame elements in Adobe Animate. The final shorts aired on Princess Nokia's Instagram feed as well as the Twitter and Instagram feeds for Beats1 Radio. This project was also featured in Billboard magazine.
